What is the mission of JaxPAL?

The Police Athletic League of Jacksonville (JaxPAL) enriches the lives of children by creating positive relationships between law enforcement officers and youth through educational, athletic, outreach, and teen leadership programs.

No, JaxPAL is a 501(c)(3) youth-serving non-profit organization that operates through a collaborative partnership with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO).

JaxPAL offers several athletic programs, including Basketball (Winter and Summer), Tackle Football, Flag Football, Track and Field, Boxing, and Cheerleading.

 

Yes, JaxPAL provides after-school programs at four community-based sites and two school-based sites. These programs focus on STEAM-based learning, academic support, and character building.

 

Yes, JaxPAL offers a 6-week summer camp featuring STEM activities, field trips, law enforcement demonstrations, and recreational sports. Registration typically requires proof of residency and documentation like Medicaid or WIC if applying for specific assistance.

 

The main administrative office is located at 3450 Monument Road, Jacksonville, FL 32225. There are also various center locations including Northside, Eastside, and Westside.
